The “Netzwerk der Beschwerde- und Verbesserungsmanager*innen sowie Ombudspersonen in Studium und Lehre an deutschen Hochschulen” (BeVeOm), is the German national association for ombudsmen and personnel handling complaints, grievances and improvement proposals in higher education institutions.
BeVeOm promotes conflict management within higher education and its members are active in diverse fields like teaching, studies and all aspects of campus life.
Its aim is to provide a platform for professional exchange, competency development and collegial counselling. BeVeOm gives its members the opportunity to network within Germany and beyond as it cooperates with ENOHE and other national networks.
It offers assistance to universities who wish to establish units for conflict resolution and ombudswork. In addition it connects the smaller networks of the federal states.
