For members: Reading & Learning Together – Session 2

26/04/2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm UTC+2

ACCUO and ENOHE have co-organized a project to examine the book Tell Me Who You Are: Sharing Our Stories of Race, Culture, & Identity by Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi.

This book follows two American high school students who travel across the USA talking to people from various industries, races, and identities. They realised that throughout their high school experience they had not heard any meaningful discussions about racism.

  • We aim to create a low-barrier open forum to discuss the book, its contents, and the ways in which its ideas may inform our practice.
  • This inter-organizational collaboration provides an opportunity to build relationships and exchange ideas with colleagues across borders. This will also serve as a forum to compare what sort of conversations are happening about race and identity in North America, Europe and beyond.
  • Our plan is to meet early March, and then again in late April, so folks have an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions around topics such as race, identity, intersectionality, and strategies for effective change in your context.
